Events

Southwest Paintball promotes several paintballs events throughout the calendar year. These include the King of the Hill 5-man series, the NatWest Southern Paintball League and the showcase Heaven's Gate tournament.

All of the different events that are coming up are summarised below - more information on each of these is available by clicking the links provided.

• King of the Hill
  5-Man Introduction Series - Great for Newbies. February - December.
• NatWest SW Paintball League
  5-Man Premier League in the South. March - October.
• Heaven's Gate II
  Two-Day 7-Man Tournament. One of the best events in the UK.

The King of the Hill series is aimed at bringing more players in to the sport of tournament paintball. The format is designed to make participate in your first paintball competitions as easy as possible.

The emphasis here is on new teams and players. Equipment can be provided at no extra charge, all Air fills are included, paintballs are available from just £25 per 2000 case and upwards, and the atmosphere is friendly and helpful.

With a friendly atmosphere based around running fun, enjoyable events, the Prot KotH series is a great way to give tournament paintball a try at minimal cost whilst getting maximum experience. Appraoching its ninth year, the highly successful NSPL is the South's biggest and best tournament series.

The NSPL series begins on March and there is approximately one event per month until October. Entrance fees start at £200 per team or £40 per player and the facilities/services provided are of the highest quality. This is the top level of tournament paintball in the South of the UK - if you're serious about competing, this is the series for your team.

Heaven's Gate is all about quality. The modern sport of paintball demands venues with excellent facilities and great atmosphere. Chapel Gate Sports Centre, just outside central Bournemouth, provides both and at the end of July it will be transformed into paintball heaven!

Heaven's Gate will see 4 Sup'Air arenas surrounded by the following facilities:

• Spectator Grandstands
• Trade and Tech village
• Player's changing rooms and showers
• Team Staging and Pits
• Administration cabin and public announcement system
• NSPL 4.5K Air Delivery Trailor
• Chronograph station
• Licensed take away and light refreshments
• Licensed club house serving quality food
• Player's camping village

All this is just the stage for this two-day 5-man competition. Professional judges and support staff will make sure that everything runs smoothly. Each team that enters is assured value-for-money, playing seven games on Saturday and five games on Sunday. On Sunday afternoon, qualifying teams will enter the finals to play for trophies and prizes. Every effort will be made to secure an excellent prize package.

Months of planning and all these fantastic features mean Heaven's Gate is the event to be seen at during the UK's Summer.

Cost of Entering

Heaven's Gate is organised by the NSPL, who have years of experience organising paintball events and have provided top quality tournaments to teams in the South through the NSPL and great showcase fixtures such of the Gordano RFC event and the previous year's Heaven's Gate. Our policy has always been to provide the best possible service at a price that leaves teams feeling like they've had their money's worth, not been ripped off.

The entrance fee for Heaven's Gate is £400.00 per 5-man team.
